About Us

Kate Burrows

I am a Registered Member of the BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists)

  • Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling.
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
  • School Counsellor working with children 10-18
  • Level 2 & 3 Certificate in Counselling Skills.

Having experienced my own struggles some years ago I decided to explore how I could then help others and embarked on my journey to become a counsellor. By talking through my problems and worries, I was able to find ways to move forwards by finding coping mechanisms that worked for me and now I would like to help others do the same.

There are a number of reasons that you may seek counselling such as feelings of anxiety, depression, loss or just because you are feeling low and that you need someone to talk to. I am on hand to help with whatever you need to talk through.

As a person centred counsellor I will provide a space that allows you to talk through anything that you feel may help you. Person centred counselling means that sessions will be led by you and I will help you find the answers that you are looking for by providing a safe environment.

Sometimes I will use creative tools to help you express how you are feeling. We will discuss together how you are comfortable working.

I work with children between the age of 12-18 and adults in an office space in Evesham. I have chosen to work with children to help provide them with a safe space to open up about their struggles. Sometimes they just need to talk to someone who isn’t a parent and who isn’t a teacher. Looking back I wish I’d had someone to talk to when I was a teen.

I have chosen to work with adults because as an adult I had my own struggles and through conversation with my own counsellor I was able to find some answers and find coping mechanisms that worked for me. I would like the opportunity to help others do the same.

Our Mission

We would like to help as many people as possible to feel themselves again, to build confidence, get back on their feet and tackle the world head first. It all starts with a conversation, and getting things off your chest is the first step in relieving the pressures you've been facing behind closed doors.

We offer therapy and counselling sessions in Evesham and surrounding areas.

Nervous for an in person meeting? We can do our sessions remotely online if you would prefer, please get in touch.
